A Deep Dive With The Panasonic Eva-1

Adamantean customer, David Diley was recently commissioned to make a commercial for the Panasonic EVA-1 camera.

David is a freelance filmmaker, DOP, Editor and Colourist; but predominantly an underwater cameraman so naturally this commercial would be shot beneath the sea!

Click on the below link to read David’s in depth (see what we did there!) review of the Panasonic EVA-1 as it met every challenge thrown at it by the adverse weather conditions and unpredictable tiger sharks during his shoot in and around Australia’s bays and beaches.

Sharks are David’s speciality as his award winning feature doc ‘Of Shark and Man’ attests, with an exciting sequel in development.

Whilst the EVA-1 solves many of the technical issues associated with underwater filming, Adamantean is extremely proud to have also played a small part in David’s migration to 4K shark filming; with some timely finance that helped David solve the puzzle of how to get a 4K underwater kit within budget.

David Diley:

“I was introduced to Samantha at Adamantean by a mutual friend. Sam was professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She suggested a number of solutions, culminating in an option which is both affordable and relatively short term.

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Sam and Adamatean and would certainly recommend them to others.”

So, whatever it is you like to film and whatever unique challenges this presents don’t let affordability of the kit be one of them. Give Adamantean a call.
